Australia's Ryan Bayley celebrates his gold in the Keirin.
Australia's Ryan Bayley is back to stunning form, narrowly winning the Keirin in 10.515 seconds with Scotland’s Travis Smith taking the silver and Scotland's Ross Edgar claiming the bronze.
Initially it looked like Australian Ben Kersten would claim his second medal of the Games by taking the silver but judges demoted Kersten for entering the sprinter's lane when an opponent was already there.
Bayley, who competed in the Athens Olympics, has struggled with injuries but proved tonight that he is in peak condition.
Australia’s Shane Kelly finished fifth in the field of seven.
